Introduction:

Global Shipping Summit（GSS）is sponsored by ShippingChina.Com and co-organized by the Joint Committee of Industry Organizations and Leaders. GSS aims to explore innovative business models as well as to expand international network under safe environment. It attracts about 800 senior managers from all over the world every year.

The first annual meeting of International Freight Forwarder Alliance (WIFFA) Convention will also be held with GSS 2011 at the same time, about 800 freight forwarders around the world will gather together for business cooperation.

The world's ecological environment, industry structure and capital value are changing significantly. Such change is releasing enormous international power, and reconstructs the patterns of industry, economy and trade of each country. Shipping industry plays an essential role in globalization, and China has become one of the most important markets in such trend. Given the situation, GSS committee determines the theme of 2011 GSS as" International Power & China Pattern ".
